As a national political reporter over the last decade, I’ve been laser-focused on covering the Latino vote and Hispanic affairs. A recipient of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists Elaine Rivera Civil Rights & Social Justice Award for coverage of the border — and having covered the Obama, Trump, and Biden administrations and the campaigns in between — I know where we’ve been. But where are we going?
As the media landscape changes and our attention is pulled in a myriad of directions, Carrasquillo Media would like to bring its experience to your company or project, with an immense interest in moving beyond news and politics to tell our stories and connect with multicultural communities.
My coming project will be the first to embrace this ethos.
It’s 2024. The digital media ecosystem is convulsing. AI is here. But media challenges are nothing new and the imperative of building community is the same as ever. Let’s work together and make magic we can be proud of.
